MILWAUKEE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mar. 6, 2014-- Artisan Partners Asset Management Inc. (NYSE: APAM) (the “Company”) announced today the pricing of a public offering of 8,073,337 shares of Class A common stock at a price to the public of $62.00 per share. The Company has granted the underwriters an option to purchase up to 1,211,000 additional shares at the public offering price less underwriting discounts and commissions. The offering is expected to close on March 12, 2014, subject to customary closing conditions.

The Company intends to use all of the net proceeds of this offering to purchase shares of the Company’s convertible preferred stock and common and preferred units of the Company’s subsidiary, Artisan Partners Holdings LP. The selling holders include directors, officers and employees of the Company and its subsidiaries.

Citigroup, Goldman, Sachs & Co. and BofA Merrill Lynch are acting as joint bookrunners for the offering. Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, RBC Capital Markets, Sandler O’Neill + Partners, L.P. and William Blair are acting as co-managers for the offering.
